The ISBE is now accepting nominations for board positions. All individual members have the privilege and responsibility to suggest candidates for the new board. Term runs from October of 2019 to 2022.

Each member may nominate 5 candidates including 1 national representative of his/her own country and 4 executive members being not limited by countries; Members from UK, USA and China could recommend one more country representative based on the large amount of members in these countries.

Qualifications for an individual to serve on the board:

1) The candidate shall be an individual member of the ISBE in good standing and able to serve as a board member if elected;

2) The candidate shall make great progress in scientific research and have an influence in the academic field of bionics;

3) The candidate shall be supportive of the Society’s work and willing to promote the development of the ISBE.

Please email secretariat@isbe-online.org to make the nomination with the general information of Name, Affiliation, Country, Research Field and Contact Email. This will be a great way for the individual member to gain professional skills, work with amazing people, and network widely.

Voting will be held in this September during the 6th International Conference of Bionic Engineering (ICBE2019) in Changchun, China, and the election results will be released on the ISBE website and newsletter.

The deadline for submission of nominations is 30 June, 2019, unless otherwise indicated.
