The Sino-German Symposium on Biomimetics: from Animal Sensory Systems to Locomotion

The Sino-German Symposium on Biomimetics: From Animal Sensory Systems to Locomotion will be held in Chengdu during the period from October 10 th to 15th of 2014. The symposium is granted by the Sino-German Science Center, and co-organized by Nanjing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics, University of Munich and Chengdu Institute of Biology, Chinese Academy of Sciences.
The topics of this symposium will include but not limit to: (1) Animal hearing perception and biomimetic hearing localization; (2) Animal adhesion mechanism and bio-mimetic robotics; (3) Animal compound eye system and bio-mimetic rapid object-detection technology; (4) Infrared sensing and bio-mimetic imaging system; (5) Animal tactile mechanism and bio-mimetics.
