On Monday, January 30, 2023, the Technical University of Cluj-Napoca (UTCN) awarded the title of doctor honoris causa degrees to Giuseppe Carbone from University of Calabria. 

UTCN representatives, together with members of the UTCN academic corps and guests, participated in the prestigious title ceremony, in recognition of professional excellence and contributions of great value in the field of robotics of Prof. Giuseppe Carbone. The ceremony honors the presence of the Italian Honorific Consul in Cluj-Napoca, Dr. Massimo Novali, as representative of the Italian Embassy.

Professor Giuseppe Carbone is a remarkable scientific personality both in Italy and in the whole world, where he is currently considered one of the most valuable specialists in robotics, being invited permanently as Keynote speaker in numerous academic and industrial events worldwide thanks to his remarkable contribution the development of Robotics.
