Greetings.

We are pleased to invite you to submit your interest to contribute a chapter/chapters for one of our upcoming books, “Bionics and Sustainable Design” to be published by Springer-Nature Publications and will be edited by Dr Muthu & I.

Chapters on the concepts, technological applications, multi- and transdisciplinary approaches, materials and design, standards and methodology, and case studies will be considered. Any areas under the Sustainability umbrella and connected to Bionics/Biomimetics/Biomimicry will be considered. Some of the possible areas (again not limited to) will be considered for this book are:- Bioinspired designs of sustainable products and processes in different fields; - Nature as a source of efficient and environmentally friendly practices; - How multidisciplinary teams contribute to innovation through Bionics;- How companies and industries can sustainably benefit from bioinspired solutions;

You may reply to us with your intended title with an abstract, list of author names, affiliations, CV's of authors, etc.

Abstracts need to be submitted with author details on or before 1 September 2021 and the authors of selected abstracts would be asked to submit their full chapters for consideration for publication by 1 December 2021 (3 months to develop a chapter) and the book is tabled to be published by Jan-Feb 2022.
